A third click can also be added to increase speed or change function. ![]() A double click macro will allow for a single mouse click to register as two. ![]() Using the Logitech G Hub software you can create a double click macro. However, there are alternative methods that can be used to increase click speed. Logitech mice don’t allow you to double click by lowering debounce time. Performing any action that requires intensive clicking will benefit from the ability to double click. Double clicking is a safer, and more accepted method for speeding up clicks.Ī double click can also be used to speed up specific tasks outside of gaming. While there are better methods for increasing click speed, such as autoclickers, most games don’t allow it. Typically combat based games allow players with fast clicking capabilities to gain a significant advantage. A high click speed can give a strong advantage in many games. The primary purpose of double clicking is to increase click speed, or CPS. However, some gaming mice allow you to make changes through their supported software. Most mice don’t allow you to adjust the debounce time, to prevent causing issues. A low debounce time can also result in one click being registered as two. Lowering the debounce time on a mouse allows repetitive clicks to be registered faster. When a mouse is referred to as being able to double click, it usually means the debounce time is adjustable. Yeah it kinda sucks there’s not a whole lot of competition in the “productivity” side of mice.Double clicking is when a mouse button is pressed in a way to register multiple clicks at once. Something like this? Other quality mouse manufacturers that come to mind are mostly gaming oriented (Razer, Steelseries, etc.) Microsoft used to make some professionally oriented mice, might look at their options. Not a big fan of their software either, but I mostly ignore it and don't use any of the advanced functions.ĮDIT: Also, Logitech kind of has the professional mouse market cornered with their MX series from what I can tell. Although I mostly have experience with Logitech products actually. ![]() In my experience, this type of software is usually kind of an afterthought for most brands. I am not sure other mouse manufacturers offer better software honestly. Hardware wise sounds like you like the device, but software is the issue. I don' t really have a recommendation for you, but here is my 2 cents. Is there any similar experience to what the MX series brings from another brand? Am I better of with just upgrading to a 3rd gen MX? Do the Logitech G series offerings bring a more polished experience? ![]() I do love the darkfield sensor, the endless scrolling wheel is sublime and I appreciate how the rubber feet glide through every surface they can touch. I can't for the end of me get button map sync to work across multiple devices, every now and again my gestures just don't work and have to go on and open the Options app (enough to disrupt my workflow). I have been using an MX Anywhere 2s for about 4 years now and I feel as if it's time for an upgrade, my left click is now ghost clicking, esthetically it has seen MUCH better days but above all, I'm quite annoyed at the software Logitech provides for these mice, Options.
